So, you found your soulmate all over again and are planning another wedding. Wonderful! Sometimes, love is better the second time around. You already had the "big wedding" with 100 people in a rented hall and don't want to do that gain. I get it. That expensive "gotta have it" white dress you wore in wedding #1 is turning yellow and looks so dated now. What to wear this time? Think separates. And, not your momma's separates either.
A simple tulle skirt (long or short) paired with an elegant top is just right for the occasion. In today's world of weddings, there is sort of an "anything goes" mentality that lets tops and skirts fit right in. What's also great about separates is that, unlike that first over-the-top white dress, you can wear them again. Repurpose. Recycle.
You can find a great selection of pretty tulle skirts and tops at online retailers. I find they have a much wider selection of colors and sizes than brick and mortar stores. And accessories? They are endless. Headpieces and be a simple hair clip. Or, maybe a delicate flower crown.
Its your day and you should do it your way. Be comfortable and feel good about what you are wearing in order to have the best day and memories.
